About Samantha Goldberg...

 

I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor which put simply, means that I use a number of counselling approaches which enable me to blend and adapt my counselling style to best suit the needs of my client.

 

I am a registered member of The British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).  This both helps to inform my practice and ensure that I work in an ethical manner.

 

As part of the ethical approach to my practice, I regulalry undergo supervision in line with the recommendations made by the BACP.

 

I  am committed to my own personal development and frequently attend continuing professional development training.

 

I have worked for an award winning national mental health charity and am currently employed by a large charitable organisation whose ethos is to empower people and to help them help themselves.

How much does it cost?

 

Sessions cost £40 per 50 minutes.

 

I offer a discount for block bookings.

 

Concessions are available for the unemployed, students and those on certain benefits.

 

Payment can be made in cash at the beginning of each session or by bank transfer prior to the appointment.

Where am I?

 

I offer private, 1-2-1 counselling sessions and work across Greater Manchester, Tameside and Cheshire.  I offer appointments to suit people's busy lifestyles.

Home Visits

 

I have limited availability to offer you therapy in your own home in the Tameside area. Home visits depend on individual circumstances and incur an additional charge to cover my time and travelling expenses.

 

The Small Print

 

  • I have an enhanced DBS certificate (formerly CRB)

  • Calm Harbour Counselling Service is fully insured

  • Payment can be made in cash or by bank transfer prior to your appointment

  • If you make a block booking, payment is required in advance and no refunds are available

  • For individual appointments, 24 hours notice is required as a cancellation period.  Appointments  cancelled within 24 hours will incur a cancellation fee of £20.
