Frequently asked questions
Why have counselling?
People choose to have counselling when they are facing problems or difficulties in their life that they feel unable to share with friends and family.
What is counselling?
It is an opportunity to explore issues either current or from the past in a confidential and safe environment. Perhaps you have suffered a bereavement? Have gone through a divorce? Perhaps you suffer from anxiety? Your counsellor will work with you to either help you find solutions or to help you find ways of coping better.
I am experienced in working with many different types of problems and issues; I have listed some of them here.
Your counsellor will offer you the space and time to discuss what is bothering you. Counselling sessions last 50 minutes and at Calm Harbour, you can choose to have as many or as few sessions as you feel you need.
